Terms of Purchase

General Terms of Purchase for DMC Oslo

  1. Parties to the Agreement
These terms apply to all bookings made through dmcoslo.no and describe the agreement between DMC Oslo («we» or «us») and you as the customer («you» or «the customer»). We prioritize customer service and aim to provide you with the best possible experience.
  2. Booking and Confirmation
The booking becomes binding once we send you a written confirmation and the initial payment has been received. The confirmation includes any deviations from these terms.
By receiving the confirmation and making the initial deposit, you accept these terms and conditions.
If you require, for example, special dietary accommodations, wheelchair access, or other customizations, this must be specified when booking. We will confirm if the requests can be accommodated.
If you do not receive a confirmation within 5 business days after booking, we kindly ask you to contact us to clarify the situation.
  3. Payment and Cancellation Deadline
The payment and cancellation deadline is 30 days before the delivery of services.
A longer or shorter deadline may be specified in the confirmation.
Failure to make payment within the specified deadlines will be considered a cancellation.
  4. Price and Payment
All prices are listed in Norwegian kroner (NOK) unless otherwise agreed.
A non-refundable booking fee of 10% of the total amount must be paid at the time of booking.
For bookings made later than the payment and cancellation deadline, immediate payment is required.
Any credits on the customer’s account will be deleted after 2 years from the payment date unless otherwise agreed.
The customer bears the currency risk between the booking and the payment date.
  5. Cancellation and Refunds
For cancellations made before the payment and cancellation deadline, payments will be fully refunded minus the booking fee. The booking fee will remain as credit with us and can be used as part payment for a new booking within 12 months.
For cancellations made after the payment and cancellation deadline, no refunds will be provided. However, you will have a credit on your account equal to your payments minus the booking fee and any amounts owed to suppliers due to late cancellation.
Other refund terms may be agreed upon in the confirmation you received.
If you cancel, we reserve the right to cancel services necessary for your delivery.
  6. Changes to the Booking
Changes to the booking after confirmation may be possible but depend on availability and may result in an administration fee of NOK 1,000.
Changes that result in price increases at the time of the change, such as higher supplier rates, must be covered by the customer in addition to the administration fee.
Major changes, such as adjustments to dates or the number of participants, will be treated as a new booking, and additional costs may apply.
  7. Cancellation of Tours or Events by Us
We reserve the right to cancel the tour or event due to unforeseen circumstances, including force majeure, safety concerns, or other factors beyond our control.
Examples of force majeure include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, wars, terrorist events, or other serious unforeseen incidents.
We also reserve the right to cancel bookings for tours and events organized by us and aimed at the private market if the product is not sufficiently booked. Such cancellations will be made no later than 30 days before departure.
If we must cancel, we will notify you promptly and offer either a full refund or an alternative arrangement.
  8. Customer Responsibility
The customer is responsible for providing correct information when booking, including specific needs or requirements.
Any costs incurred due to incorrect information, such as incorrect names or missing special requirements, will be covered by the customer.
The customer must follow the instructions and guidelines provided during the tour or event.
  9. Liability and Insurance
We are responsible for ensuring that the services are delivered as agreed, but we are not liable for damages, losses, or delays caused by factors beyond our control.
We strongly recommend that customers have valid travel insurance covering unforeseen events, including potential changes to the travel itinerary.
If necessary, we will assist as much as possible during our trips. The phone numbers for Norwegian emergency services are:
    Police: 112
    Ambulance: 113
    Fire department: 110
  10. No-Show (Failure to Appear)
If you fail to appear at the agreed time and place, the trip will be considered delivered, and you will not be entitled to a refund.
Costs from suppliers resulting from a no-show may be charged to you in accordance with the payment terms described in section 4.
  11. Privacy Policy
We handle all personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Personal data will only be processed in connection with your booking and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  12. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you experience issues with the delivery, delays, or other problems, please submit a written complaint within 14 days after the trip has ended so that we can assist you as effectively as possible.
DMC Oslo is a member of the Norwegian Travel Forum and will comply with decisions made by the Package Travel Complaints Board.
